Advanced Care has an office in Mount Pleasant for families in Racine County and nearby communities. We provide non-medical in-home care so older adults and adults with disabilities can keep living at home, with caregivers who come to them.

In-Home Care Services
Our caregivers help with the everyday tasks that can make staying at home hard. Services include:
- Personal care: hygiene assistance and help with dressing and undressing
- Home assistance: meal preparation, feeding assistance and light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Transfer and mobility: transfer assistance, fall prevention, help with walking and range of motion exercises
- Transportation: social outings, shopping, medical appointments and church
- Everyday tasks: getting the mail, appointment reminders, supervising home deliveries and personal business tasks
We also offer memory care and companion care. You can see every service on our services page. Advanced Care is non-medical. We do not provide wound care, medical equipment, physical therapy or occupational therapy.
Who We Help
Most of our clients are older adults who want to stay at home. We also help adults and children living with physical or mental disabilities, chronic health conditions, or recovery from a major injury or surgery.
Our team includes bilingual members, so families who speak Spanish can talk with us in the language they are most comfortable with.
How Care Starts
Starting care follows four steps:
- An initial phone consultation to talk about your loved one’s care needs.
- An in-home assessment by a registered nurse. This can also be done over Zoom if you ask.
- The nurse makes a recommendation and builds a personalized plan of care.
- Care begins, followed by bi-monthly nurse evaluations.
All consultations and assessments before care begins are free. Our nurses also do an annual comprehensive assessment for each client. Read more on how it works.

Medicaid is our primary payment method. We also take part in Wisconsin’s Family Caregiver Program through Medicaid (IRIS, Family Care and Title 19), through which family members can become paid caregivers.
